Arshi Khan along with several other Bollywood celebrities will launch a “Road Safety Week” campaign in Mumbai on 26th January – Republic Day. While not much details are available as yet, we have learnt that the campaign will include several proactive awareness initiatives, including the need for pillion riders of bikes and scooters to wear helmets even on interior roads. The campaign will also target women riders –whose numbers have increased exponentially on Indian roads as well college students who normally do not wear helmets.
The campaign is organised by ProBikerz and supported by Vega Helmets. “One of the biggest causes of head injuries is not wearing helmets while riding said a spokesperson for Vega Helmets, and we are trying to spread the awareness that wearing a good helmet can save your life,” said a spokesperson for Vega.
While the creatives for the campaign are designed by Camaal Mustafa Sikandar of DesignAge, Arshi Khan shot with Bollywood photographer Jude Fernandes for the Vega Helmets Road Safety Week campaign. It is promoted only by IndiaNewsNetwork.IN and organized with support from the Mumbai Traffic Police Cell. Several other Bollywood celebrities and actors are likely to be part of this campaign says our source.
